US Trade Secrets Registry is a private registry that is not affiliated with any governmental agency. It is private registry where individuals, entrepreneurs and businesses can register their Secrets (their “works”), ideas and inventions without disclosing them to their competitors and to others, and still have those works protected by federal and state law.

Registration with the Registry allows each client (“registrant”) to show through a digitally verifiable way that as of a certain date and time the client held those secrets , ideas and inventions (their “works”) as their own, at or before the time and date stamped registration.

Our mission is allow clients (“Registrants”) to lay claim to their works as of a certain date and as an alternative to copyright and patent office application, approval and registration, processes of the copyright and patent registration processes; processes through a governmental office that upon approval of a copyright or patent requires public disclosure. A copyright or patent does provide protection, but because they are governmental offices your ideas, works and inventions become public records that your competitors or others can obtain, for a fee, paid to the patent and copyright office. By paying that fee your competitors can obtain a complete copy of your works including a copy of your plans, processes and specifications.

US Trade Secrets Registry is the opposite and allows entrepreneurs, individuals and businesses to maintain the competitive advantage of having their ideas, secrets, works and inventions remain private and secret and not subject to public disclosure. Registration in the US Trade Secrets Registry, along with other security measures, allows you to maintain secrecy and control of your ideas, secrets, works and inventions and still have those works protected by federal law, state law, and the common law.
